Vachu has a B.S in Biology from India.  She received art training from Central State University, Ohio. She has had several solo exhibitions and has won several awards in Ohio and Chicago. She has had reviews and publications in Ohio, and many of her paintings are in businesses and private collections. She currently teaches at the Art League of Houston, and holds an adjunct position at Kingwood College.  She works in Oils, with themes from nature and  her poetry.
